Anonymous said: Heya! So I'm going on vacation in a few days and I'm just packing my stuff, but honestly as I'm trying everything on, I feel ugly in everything. I a size 12/16, but I just feel like a size 20/24. Not that there's anything wrong with that, it's just I have very low self esteem so I just don't feel cute in anything. (It's so bad that it's gonna be 100 degrees out, and I'm basically taking all long sleeve shirts. Please help me, I just don't know what to do. Thank you. x
well honestly i can’t give that much advice because i dont know your closet or your preference but i will tell you this.
it’s always good to have a few choice items to fall back on that you feel comfortable in and feel alright to wear all day.
for summer, i really like dresses/skirts as opposed to shorts
i think a good thing to have is a plain coloured skirt, whether it be black or whatever (just a side note i think it’s good to have a plain black or white item in any form, it’s a good building block for an outfit)
skirts are nice and flowy and good when it comes to hot days, if you’re not comfortable in skirts, skorts are somehow back in vogue and honestly they can be amazin, like this one (i have it in plain black and i wear it all the time)
but there are always the shorts with really flowy legs that look like skirts those are really good too
or the lightweight peg/jogger pants that are a lil baggy at the top and tighten around the ankles
if you have any loud or patterned bottoms just go for a plain black or white or grey shirt, and if u wanna feel like a lil cutie just roll up the sleeves like you’re danny zuko, and people will be all like “wow, they’re badass AND cute”
when it comes to dresses i genuinely think skater dresses/a-line dresses are the way to go (they’re the ones that are a lil more form fitting till about the midriff area and then the skirt flares out) they seem to work and any and every size and are super cute and easy to find anywhere.
also kimonos are always a much, especially if you wanna cover up, and they’re pretty easy to find most places now.
sorry if this isn’t much help but this is all the advice i can give, given the circumstances, but if you wanna skype call me while you pack i’d probably do it.
Anonymous said: How do you do the ombré without making a straight line ( you make it look perfect)
so, i would do it via bleach washing (which if you don’t know what that is this is a great tutorial)
and the higher you get in your hair the more you dilute the bleach wash w/ shampoo, or you just wash it in more if you decide to go with the wet version of bleach washing, i hope this helps!
Anonymous said: How do you get it to look so perfect! I'm so jealous. Next time you dye it can you do a tutorial or something.
sorry to burst this bubble but i just dyed it lavender
so i wont be dyeing it blonde again for a while

hello friends, I have a 20% code for modcloth that expires September 30th that I want to give away to someone, reblog if u want it and I will choose someone at random, would be preferable if you followed me!!!! (and my personal blog what what) (also not gonna count likes, it’s too passive aggressive for my taste)
I’ll give it to someone on August 26th!!!
thanks everyone have a nice day :)
well that happened fast
got that Sweeney Todd/Wednesday Adams look going today
one of the dumbest things about today was I answered the door this morning dressed like this
this is the less impressive dress from modcloth though, it’s nice but if I knew what the fabric was actually going to be like I wouldn’t have bought it. although that being said it’s very comfortable a decent length and I will probably still wear it a lot because it’s not that bad
